Beyond the Hose: Other Ways to Use Midnight Pineapple

Midnight Pineapple was designed to hold a hose. It's rated to 5kg, mounted on carbon steel, and built to handle the daily wear of being uncoiled and recoiled every time you water the garden.

But once it's up on the wall, customers keep telling us it's doing a lot more than that. So we thought we'd share a few of the ways Midnight Pineapple is showing up outside its job description.

Towels

By a pool, an outdoor shower, or just near the back door — a wall hook for a beach towel or a garden towel beats a plastic hook every time, and it means the towel isn't sitting in a damp heap on the ground.

Fairy Lights

Wind a strand of fairy lights around the pineapple silhouette or hang them from the hook itself. It catches the light beautifully after dark, especially against a dark render or timber wall, and turns from a functional hanger into a small feature piece for evening entertaining.

Dog Leads

For anyone who walks a dog straight from the back door, a hook by the entry means the lead has a home instead of living on a bench or the floor. Grab it on the way out, hang it on the way back in.

Plant Hangers

Hang a trailing plant — pothos, string of pearls, whatever's thriving in your space — straight from the hook for an easy vertical greenery moment without drilling another hole in the wall.

Garden Gloves and Aprons

If you're out in the garden often, having gloves or an apron on a hook by the door means you're never hunting for them in a shed or a drawer. Small thing, but it adds up.

Umbrellas

A wet umbrella by the front or back door needs somewhere to drip that isn't the floor. Midnight Pineapple handles that too.
