Setting It Up

Getting The Works ready to go takes a couple of minutes:

  1. Attach the tap connector. Screw the tap connector fitting onto your outdoor tap, hand-tight — no tools needed, but make sure it's snug so it doesn't leak under pressure.
  2. Attach the brass fitting to your hose. Screw the other brass fitting onto the end of your garden hose the same way.
  3. Connect the spray gun. Click the gun onto the hose fitting until it locks into place. Give it a gentle tug to check it's seated properly.
  4. Turn on the tap and test the flow. Start with the tap on low to check for leaks at both connection points before opening it up fully.
  5. Twist the dial to choose your mode. Rotate the head through the 7 settings to find the right one for the job — fine mist for seedlings and new plantings, wider patterns for general watering, and the jet setting for pathways, fences, and outdoor cleaning.
  6. Use the trigger lock for hands-free jobs. Squeeze the trigger and engage the lock if you need both hands free while watering — press the trigger again to release it.

That's it. No extra tools, no fiddly washers to lose — just twist, click, and go.
